The Trumpeter Swan is a regal bird representing the heaviest living native bird to North America, with a wing span up to 6+ feet in width!   This elegant swan, with graceful neck and snowy-white plumage, has breeding grounds in Alaska and Northern Canada while it winters in southern inland waters, forming lifelong pairs.  Their distinctive honking can be heard echoing across the still waters of the north in perfect harmony with nature.
