BEAR 178 - a rare white grizzly nicknamed - NAKODA - recently died of injuries suffered in a car collision in Yoho National Park. She was a 3 1/2 year old mother who had given birth to two cubs who sadly were also killed earlier in the year. Recognized by their white coats with brown slash along the spine, these bears will be sorely missed by all.
