HAY RIVER W.C. 

Hay River known as "the Hub of the North" is a town in the Northwest Territories, Canada.  Located on the south shore of Great Slave Lake, at the mouth of the Hay River, it plays a major role in the transportation of goods from southern Canada into the Northwest Territories as it is a rail terminus and home port for N.T.C.L.  This annual sealift along the Mackenzie River reaches not only communities along the river but communities located far afield  on the Arctic Ocean.
